Whilst on a visit to America in 1991, I was fortunate to rediscover Keleidoscopes, and I've been making them ever since.
The Hand Painted Designs on all my Glass Kaleidoscopes are achieved by using reverse painting techniques. The patterns created within the paint are as infinite & unique as the Kaleidoscope image you will discover inside. Each Kaleidoscope comes signed & numbered, they also carry a title relating to the style & theme of the painted design. Kaleidoscopes were invented in 1816 by the Scottish Scientist Sir David Brewster. The name reserved for his invention is derived from three Greek words meaning Beautiful – Form – To see
