Career History:
1974-1976 – U.S. Navy, special enlistment, participated in evacuation of U.S. Embassy Cambodia, aboard the U.S.S. Okinawa
1976-1979 – American River College, majoring in oceanography and art
1976-1983 – Created the “Bottled Ocean” liquid wave chamber and initiated its manufacturing and marketing.
1983-1992 – Expanded the knowledge gained through the plastic container of the “Bottled Ocean” into design and manufacturing company. Founded The Amazing Plastic Corporation, focusing on designs for the display and art industry.
Present – Designed and created the ‘KaleidoWave’©, and “Mini”-KaleidoWave along with the “Alchemist” necklace KaleidoWave©, the KaleidoWave©, the KaleidoWave© “Moxi”, the KaleidoWave© “Naturesque”, the KaleidoWave© SeaScope, and the KaleidoWave© Sand Castle kaleidoscopes.

Career Accomplishments:
- Designed and produced encasements for Humphrey Bogart’s ‘Casablanca’ trench coat; Judy Garland’s ‘Wizard of Oz’ dress and the Oscar for the ‘Gone With the Wind’ for the Hollywood Centennial.
- Designed and produced encasements for Buddy Holly’s personal guitar, his suit and clothes worn at his London Palladium performance and other assorted Buddy Holly memorabilia for a private collector.
- Designed and produced the Daco Game Tumbler for the California Lottery

Personal Insight:
”I’ve always been drawn to the beauty and power of water; it holds a mystery and serenity that is magnetic. I believe in the calming negative Ion effect that the motion of fluid produces for people. The ability to combine the movement of fluid with the beautiful effects the KaleidoWave series of kaleidoscopes produce has been given me an inner peace that words cannot convey. I feel that kaleidoscopes give freedom to the mind and soul.”
