Due to the tremendous response from the first show, The Emerson Resort and Spa is proud to welcome back The Manhattan Quilters Guild with an entirely new collection of quilts, some never seen before. All the quilts are available for purchase. The show features works from 13 artists from the guild. The show runs from October 3rd through the first week of January.

Kaleidokreations continued

Kids, for the entire week were able to add their “kreations” to the giant scope created by Cru Chase. The kids had a blast and so did their parents. The completed scope will travel to several area schools where the students will create additional wheels while they learn about the science of a kaleidoscope. The ultimate destination for the scope is a children’s hospital or charity. We welcome any suggestions!

The week long event also included visits by Peter and Skeeter DeMattio and Massimo Strino.  There was a series of kaleidoscope making classes that were so successful that they will continue on an ongoing basis.

The event concluded with a cocktail reception followed by a presentation from Isaac Abrams, the creator of the visuals for the World’s Largest Kaleidoscope.
