Corki Weeks
Since 1982 Corki Weeks, an object maker for more than forty years, has been expressing her craft through the magic of kaleidoscopes. From the mountains of Colorado she has designed in a variety of materials including brass, Corian, wood, steel, glass and paper. Her innovated cell designs feature an array of vintage beeds and findings, seashells, stones, ampules, and frame worked glass.
Her aesthetic style grew from years of experience in fiber, jewelry, and glass for which she has won many awards including the first ‘Brewster Award for Ingenuity’.
At her side has been her daughter, Pam Robinson, working with mirrors, building scopes, and creating wheels and chambers. In the future the torch will pass, but for now Corki and Pam will work together to create the magic.
Enjoy.
